I get lost all the time even in my home city, I realised that it’s not that I’m not familiar with the city, I actually memorising the locations and spots by their shapes, colors and even the feelings they give me, very illogic to many people, but what is logical anyway?
It’s not that I have bad memory but just I memorise things in a different way other than that numeric system.
The colors, smells, the mood when I pass by those places, I know where am I going, I know who I’m going to see, I know the kinda stories I’m gonna have with this person.
I can close my eyes and paint out that map with a pen and show you how the world looks like in my head.
